Krystal Marie Ball

   Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24 in 1981) is an American political commentator. She was previously a candidate for Senate in the United States, as well as a television presenter for MSNBC. She was frequent contributor to The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill’s Rising together with Saagar Enti. Enjeti and Ball declared that they were leaving the show, in May 2021. They planned to launch their own independent project called Breaking Points. Ball hosts the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has made guest appearances on various networks, including CNN, CNBC, Fox News and programs including Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball married Jonathan Dariyanani in 2020. Ball attributes her increased enthusiasm for politics to having a mother during 2008's primaries. Additionally, she was a witness to the US elections during her time in Jordan. She observed how it affected the people of that country and developed an appreciation for US politics' global impact. She was a Senior Fellow member of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st congressional district in the 2010 election. She lost to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. She was host of The Cycle, a MSNBC television show that she co-hosted from June 2012 until August 2015. She established the People's House Project, an action committee that works for Democratic causes in May 2017.
